Uva Ursi has a history of use for its
diuretic properties. In Western Herbal Medicine Uva
Ursi is used for the urinary system. In addition to
its diuretic properties it also exhibits astringent
properties. It has been found to be useful to
relieve inflammation of the lower urinary tract.

Vein Health with Horse Chestnut
This combination of Vitamin C and
bioflavonoids that contain antioxidant and free
radical scavenging properties, and also the herbs
Butcher’s Broom and Horse Chestnut which may assist
in the relief of venous insufficiency such as pain,
heaviness, cramps, tingling and swelling in the
legs.

Horse Chestnut
is a tonic to the venous system as well as
anti-inflammatory. It has been traditionally
used to help tone the veins and can help to
relieve the symptoms associated with conditions
such as varicose veins. It may also help to
relieve symptoms associated with haemorrhoids
due to these toning properties.

Butcher’s Broom
is recommended in the Commission E Monographs as
being useful as a “supportive therapy for
discomforts of chronic venous insufficiency,

and swelling in the legs". It supports the
action of Horse Chestnut in this formula.

Vitamin C
is an anti-oxidant that is required for at least
300 metabolic functions in the body. It is
essential in the formation of collagen as well
as assisting in blood clotting and capillary
integrity.

including Hesperidin and Rutin
work synergistically together to assist the
absorption of Vitamin C.

B-Complex is not a single substance, but a
combination of several individual vitamins. There
are nine specific components of the Vitamin
B-Complex, all of which are water-soluble. Each
component has a specific name and differs in
chemical structure and function. Most of these are
