Which Magnet Therapy Products Should You Go For?
Always
remember that NOT ALL MAGNETS ARE THE
SAME.
Products have to be the best quality
and the most powerful that you can afford, otherwise
they cannot penetrate that deep into the body, and so will have
little effect.
The
professional magnet therapy products that we promote at Natural
Body Healing are VERY powerful and effective. We only
promote premium health products that work the most effectively,
which is why we sell
Norstar
Biomagnetics
and
Vergari
Biodynamics - the professional's choice for magnet
therapy products.
Why not
compare the our gauss ratings with other leading
products on the market, check the packaging and see
the difference for yourself.
These
premium products work for the
majority of people, greatly enhancing overall well-being and are
used by therapists, sportsmen and thousands of other people
worldwide on a day-to-day basis, because they are simply the
most powerful magnetic solutions (based on gauss strength) that
you can obtain in the UK.
In fact, most of these magnet therapy products are sold through
recommendations, referrals and repeat business from extremely
loyal customers and professional therapists.
All
quality magnet therapy products will have a detoxifying
effect on the blood. Therefore, whilst using magnet therapy
products, always remember to drink 6 - 8 glasses of (preferably
magnetised) water a day, to flush out the toxins that the
magnets help release from the cells. Because of the increase of
oxygen and blood being circulated around the body and removal of
toxins, there are huge improvements to the skin, hair and nails.
How Can
You Check Whether Products Are of Premium Quality?
Well, it’s
important that you check out the GAUSS RATING. The GAUSS of a
magnet determines its strength. There is a gauss rating
at the centre (core) of the magnet, and there is also a
gauss rating at its surface. The surface area gauss
rating will determine the level of magnetic penetration.
A magnet of less than 800 gauss on the ‘surface’ of the skin
will hardly give any benefit at all, as it won’t be able to
penetrate deep enough into the tissue.
In
addition, the amount of surface area in contact with the body
plays a vital role on the ‘widespread’ effectiveness of the
magnetic field. The larger the surface area such as in a
mattress pad, pillow pad or innersoles, the wider the
distribution. Furthermore, different types of magnets are
used in different types of magnet therapy products.
Therefore, if you require pain relief
within ‘deep’ body tissue, you would require a magnet of
much higher gauss ratings at its surface, such as those found in
‘Neodymium magnets’.
Powerful
Neodymium Magnets
Neodymium
magnets are known as the ‘KING’ of magnets, and are made up of
three metals: boron, ferrite and neodymium. Neodymium is a
rare earth metal which is what makes it more expensive. The
quantity of neodymium in the magnet directly affects the
power of that magnet. Neodymium magnets are known as
‘permanent’ magnets and should be used for soft tissue damage
and on deep tissue areas of the body such as backs, knees, hips,
shoulders etc.
Top
quality neodymium's can have a CORE rating of 12,300 gauss and a
SURFACE gauss of 1,200. For example, Norstar Neodymium Magnets have a
central core value of 12,300 gauss with a surface output of
between 1,200 - 1,500 gauss. Despite their cost, Neodymium
magnets have an impact of 7cms to 15cms on the skin both in
radius and in depth of penetration and will hold their fields
for up to 15 years. They therefore offer best value for money
when you consider their long-term effectiveness.
Most
magnet manufacturers recommend using the North Pole of the
magnet towards the body. It is the general consensus that
North Pole heals and the South Pole stimulates. We
recommend using North Pole magnets only, but there are a few
exceptions to this.
Ceramic
Magnets
‘Ferrite’
Ceramic magnets are used in our pillow pads, stress
busters and sleep systems. Ceramic magnets are far less costly
than neodymium magnets and so they can readily be built into
large items such as mattress pads at a fraction of the cost of
neodymium magnets.
Over
30% of the population do not get adequate sleep. Sleep is
absolutely essential for tissue and cellular repair,
optimum brain function, and for the effective circulation of the
blood to carry nutrients and oxygen around the body whilst it is
relaxed and receptive. It is also a key time for body cleansing
to take place as the lymph system picks up waste from cells and
also helps optimise the immune system.
Magnets
with over 3,000 core gauss rating should be used to promote
relaxation whilst you sleep. Our Ceramic magnets have a
core rating of 3,975 gauss. When used in sleep products, they
also stimulate the pineal gland to secrete ‘melatonin’, which
promotes rejuvenation and healing.
3 hours’
sleep loss is the equivalent of a 50% reduction in our immune
system’s efficiency. Melatonin reaches its maximum potential
about an hour after we fall into a deep sleep, so after this
time, the body’s repair systems go into full swing.
Flexible
Magnets
Flexible
magnets are lower in magnetic strength but can be very flexible,
with approximately 2,750 gauss rating at its core. This will
have an impact on tissue depth of between 2.5cms to 5cms.
Flexible magnets are used for fingers, thumbs and wrist wraps
where less penetration is required. A flexible magnet generally
holds its field for 5 - 6 years.
